Stainless Steel Tile Profiles
The base material for the wedi® stainless steel tile profiles is V2 A (304). The profiles provide protection and decoration to the outer edges of tiled finishes. The polished surface gives the profile a glossy finish capable of withstanding mechanical stress unharmed.
Stainless Steel Tile Profiles (brushed / bright rolled)
The base material for wedi® stainless steel tile profiles is V4 A (316). The profile may be used as edge protection and as a transition profile for areas experiencing high mechanical loads. Their high level of resistance to chemicals and acids mean that the profile can be used in areas exposed to high levels of chemical and mechanical stress, such as dairies, catering kitchens and hospitals. Contact with other metals, e.g. carbon steel, should be avoided as this can otherwise lead to extraneous rust.
