Indoor Air Quality
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCS) – The above mentioned products are manufactured from extruded polystyrene foam and are not considered VOC emitters in the LEEDS certification process.
Mold/Mildew & Bacterial Growth – The above mentioned products do not contribute to mold, mildew or bacterial growth from moisture degradation.
Energy & Atmosphere
The above mentioned products provide long term, added insulation value and block thermal shorts from occurring in wall assemblies. These products are used to support ENERGY STAR qualifying construction.
Recycled Content
The above mentioned products are produced from extruded polystyrene granules, a by-product of oil refining. wedi production waste can be recycled and reused. Waste disposal of used products will not contribute to pollution of water and other natural resources.
Thermal Comfort
The above mentioned products are 100% waterproof, thermal insulating and will help to moderate the temperature of wall cavities, reducing the potential for condensation.
Sustainability
The above mentioned products will not rot, degrade or deteriorate in moist and warm conditions.
